Treatment description

Hylase therapy is a procedure used to dissolve unwanted or incorrectly injected hyaluronic acid filler in the face or body. The enzyme hyaluronidase is injected selectively so that the filler can break down and the tissue can move closer to its natural state.

Possible applications include dissolving excess filler, correcting overtreatment, addressing firmness, nodules or asymmetries, and emergency medical treatment where hyaluronic acid filler is compressing a blood vessel.

Unwanted results from previous treatments may also be corrected. Residual filler is dissolved selectively; afterwards, a new and more harmonious result with hyaluronic acid may be planned if desired and medically appropriate.

The dose is determined precisely and individually. A medical assessment and careful evaluation of the findings are required before treatment.
